AIRLINE VINTAGE GUITAR WITH IN CASE AMPLIFIER COMB - EURO 685

An Airline Model 7214 Guitar (Gold) with Amp in the Case, from the early 1960s . This was made by National and was a top of the line outfit for one of these guitar and amp combos. The guitar is a deluxe double pickup instrument with "gold top" gold finish and built-in electronic vibrato feature. This manually operated tremlo effect is also found on Supro guitars of this era - the Supro Tremlectrics, also made by National.

The matching beautiful blue hardcase with a hot little 8 watt tube amp, featuring an 8" Jenson speaker. Essentially, the amp is an early 1960s Fender Champ amp. Jeff Beck uses one of these great pieces of guitar history. While the guitar is a great player, the amplifier itself is totally superb. It stands up heads and shouders above many modern and very costly boutique practice amplifiers. This set sounds, plays and looks great. All in very good condition.Totally cool indeed.
