A Harmony archtop guitar made in 1956 in Chicago. This is a rare Model H-62, also known, as we understand, as Model numbers 1385L and 1427L. It is similar to the Company's "Espanada Model, but without the Espanada's aluminum binding. The pickups are super surplus World War II Gibsons, the same as on the Gibson ES 150s from the 1940s or so. They are similar to the famous Kay "Kleenex Box" pickups. The guitar is a thick bodied guitar and all the controls/fittings are bakelite. The junior model is the H-65, a single pickup version.
This is a very good example for one of these great guitars This guitar plays well and has a great set of sound .All in very good condition.
