A National Supro "Res O Glass" bodied guitar with 3 a side headstock from the mid 1960s. This guitar was manufactured by the historic USA company - National. This guitar never appeared in a catalogue, as far as I can ascertain. The body style appeared as a National Varsity 66 in black and a Sahara 70 in blue, both with a single pick-up. The pick-ups on this guitar were designed by National - as were all 3 kinds of pickups used on National guitars. In this guitar, they are similar in design to De Armonds but without poles through the magnet. Instead, the coil is wound directly around the magnet. They deliver a super tone. All in very good condition.
